The submission of walks is a three step process
- Select an available date from the calendar on this page
- Register the date you wish to lead a walk with the co-ordinators
- Submit details of your walk
Step 1- Select a date
The calendar below displays all the dates booked so far. Check the calendar, and choose a free slot. Try to avoid offering a walk in an area already covered in the same week. To have your date entered in the this public calendar your date must be registered.

Once a walk is registered, please submit full details as soon as possible.
Ideally, we would like walk leaders to enter their own walks into the Group Walk and Events Manager (GWEM) on the Ramblers website. This is the database hosted by Ramblers which supplies the data for the printed programme and all the tables, lists, etc on our own website.
Once you are a contributor, these notes (updated 29 June 2018) will guide you through the process of adding a walk. Further information is in the Getting Started for Contributors Manual and comprehensive guides on The Ramblers website. Please remember that the coordinators will give you all the help you need to add a walk.
